Prof. Aleksandra Lesiak MD, habilitated doctor Dermatology and venereology specialistt, she is an associate professor at the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of the Medical University in Łódź. She authored and co-authored numerous original and review articles in Polish and international journals. Her scientific work mainly focuses on cancerous skin diseases, psoriasis and children’s skin diseases. Aleksandra Lesiak MD, Ph.D is a member of Polish Society of Dermatology and European Society for Dermatological Research, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She completed residencies abroad (France, Great Britain). In 2011 she received the prestigious grant: L’OREAL for Women and Science and in 2012 she became the laureate of the ‘Supertalenty w Medycynie’ contest (Supertalents in Medicine). Since 2014 she has been the vice-president of Youth Forum Section of Polish Society of Dermatology and since 2015 a vice-president of Oncology section of PTD.
